Welcome to homework assignment CCC 1.20 of the Core Cannabis Course from Higher Learning LV. This assignment teaches students about the minor cannabinoid CBGV. This cannabinoid is closely related to CBG and is the varin version of that molecule. Like many varin and varin acidic precursor cannabinoids, there is little peer-reviewed scientific research about this cannabinoid. Students will later in this course learn about the acidic precursor to CBGV, CBGVA.

What is CBGV?
Cannabigerovarin (CBGV), a minor cannabinoid, is the varin version of cannabigerol (CBG). It results from CBGVA, the meta acidic precursor in cannabis that also morphs into CBDVA (which results in cannabidivarin, or CBDV) and THCVA (producing tetrahydrocannabivarin, or THCV). Under the right environmental conditions, CBGV may morph into cannabidiol (CBD).
