Welcome to homework assignment CCC 1.14 of the Core Cannabis Course from Higher Learning LV. This assignment teaches students about CBN, a cannabinoid that most commonly results from the degradation of THC via environmental factors, including simple time and age. Students learn how CBN, which conveys mild psychotropic effects, has demonstrated efficacy for anxiety and may be effective for sleep disorders (although some studies debate the marketing claims of sleep efficacy).

What is CBN?

Cannabinol (CBN) is the result of CBNA, the acidic precursor for this important cannabinoid. It is considered a minor cannabinoid because it is typically available in relatively low volumes compared to major cannabinoids such as cannabidiol (CBD) and tetrahydrocannabinol (THC) (under one percent).
